A voice must be the ultimate survivor when all else has quieted down in fear of breaking the circle and disobeying orders. When the unquestionable rationality of orders is glued to the surface of horrific things that no human being would normally do, it becomes all right. The voice must act when the unquestionable must be struck with the breaking question. That voice must not be controlled by a mind that tries to conceal, but a potential revelation.
